Handcrafted Wooden Spoons

                                  Wooden Spoons Care Instructions
To keep your spoons looking good and make them last forever. Use soap and water only. Never wash in a dishwasher! After repeated washing if utensils start to look dry, rub them with any food safe oil.
The first few times you wash your spoons they may feel a little fuzzy. After letting them dry completely, lightly sand them with fine sandpaper or buff lightly with Scotch Bright pad and then oil as above. Fuzzing (the grain raising) is common to anything made of wood and then put into water. After a few times of doing this they will remain smooth and only need an occasional touch up.

With every order we send instructions on how to care
for your wooden cooking utensils and on the back
we attach some fine sand paper and scotchbright pad
to help you keep them smooth.
